What is included in the £75 hire?
The standard hire includes the 70cm Kadai, its stand and a cooking grill. Delivery and collection within 10 miles of Fire Hire Co are included.
Can the Kadai be used as a barbecue?
Yes. The supplied grill turns the Kadai into a charcoal or wood-fired barbecue for familiar favourites, and it is ideal for toasting marshmallows afterwards.
What does the cooking tripod add?
The optional tripod opens up more traditional fire cooking. It can be used with suitable hanging cookware for slow cooking, skillet dishes and smoking or hanging meat. Ask for it when enquiring so we can confirm the setup and available cookware.
Can you provide firewood?
Yes. Firewood can be supplied if needed for an additional charge. Tell us how you plan to use the Kadai and we can discuss what you will need.
Can it be used on grass?
A heatproof mat can be provided to help protect the grass beneath the setup. The Kadai must always be positioned securely, used outdoors and kept away from combustible materials.
Can I hire it with other cooking equipment?
Absolutely. The Kadai works particularly well alongside a Gozney pizza oven, Traeger smoker or paella pan, giving guests another place to cook, gather and stay warm. It is also available as a standalone hire.
